I was worried about copper again but I can tell a big difference in the colors from before to now.

Here's the color before I drained and refilled.

So it's not green or teal. Just blue!

CYA is about 25..Need to increase a tad free chlorine present 17.5 chlorine 0 total chlorine ? Back to teal water. Started out light green

Pool was drained yesterday. Left about 12 inches of water. Refilling now. Boosted the CYA. pH is a 7.5. Slamming process starting soon!!!

I live in Smallville. There are literally 5 Wal-marts within an hour's drive and everyone I've called doesn't have it. I'll work on getting it drained. Thank you!

The algaecide had the word blue in it. :( I haven't been able to use liquid chlorine (every single Walmart locally is out) and we can't find bleach. I've been using a powered shock and tabbed chlorine from the pool store this year. Super shock and algaecide shock.

Just one bottle of algaecide in the fall. We did a partial refill last spring. I started with a dark green slimy pool!

Yes, I held it for about a week and a half at about 40 ppm before I decided that I needed it tested for the teal color. Should I give it another round of slamming or take out some water? How much water should I remove?
