Jandy Aquapure 1400 - No Flow

Chlorine test began to come back zero, so I checked the jandy and the saltwater generator is showinf "no flow". I've checked filter pressure it is normal, backwashed, cleaned everything, and took out the salt cell and inspected for buildup which there was none, and reinstalled. The temperature...

Freeze Preparations (TX, LA, GA, AL, FL, etc)

Plans changed and I'll be out of town Friday when high is 20 and low is 9... Should I drain all equipment and put bottles in the skimmers for the one day? If Is home I would keep everything running in freeze protection. But being out of town with lows at 9 degrees and 40mph gusts has me a bit...

Freeze Preparations (TX, LA, GA, AL, FL, etc)

This will be my 2nd Winter with my pool, but this is the first time where we will see winter highs below freezing for three consecutive days. I assume pumps running 24/7 will be enough to protect? As long as we do not have a power failure?

    Frog invasion

I apologize in advance to any animal lovers. But today I pulled 27 frogs out of my pool. Only a couple of them were alive. Any advice on how to eliminate the frogs in the area. Most of the dead frogs were very small young frogs. I've got a creek in the woods behind my house and that's...

    Replacement TFPRO kit

I just reran the test after swapping out the lids back to the originals, and rinsing them out with tap water.. I got 14 or 350... I'm guessing something was clogged in one of the tips I may have solved the problem

    Replacement TFPRO kit

Okay so I swapped all three tips from my old set for E10, R11L and R12... And I got 14, or 350 calcium hardness which makes much more sense with my previous readings. When I just changed out the r12, nothing changed about the test so it was either the r10 or R11L tip that was different. Now...

    Replacement TFPRO kit

I ordered a refill for my TF pro test kit. Everything seems to be perfect, except for the calcium hardness test. All of last year my test would come in at around 300 or 12 drops of the solution. Now when I test I'm at 24 or 25 drops in order to get it to change blue. Did something change in...

Pool is finally done, time to show it off and ask some Getting Started questions

I had the same setup as you with iaqualink and @ajw22 helped me through it. Super simple once I figured out what the dip switch was.... I think it's definitely lowered the rise in my pH, but it also could be that my plaster is almost a year old now... Either way I enjoy having control of...

    Copper on Pool Store Test

I learned my lesson yesterday. As soon as I got home I told my wife, that I knew far more than the pool store employee. He tried to sell me a product that was a conditioner of some type, I asked if it was cyanuric acid, and he had no clue what I was talking about.... So I proceeded to point...

    Copper on Pool Store Test

No, I have none of those... As far as I can tell it's crystal clear and blue.
