Hi, My brother just bought a house with a pool and wanted me to get him a book about pool care. He does not have internet right now (or an e-book reader), so I wanted to know if there's a way to get the TFP e-book Pool School (that I just got on Amazon - but I can't print) as a printable PDF...

I opened my pool last week, and in just a few days, it started going green. Before I ran any tests, I dumped in a lot of chlorine, and I now have FC at 22. What tests can I run with the chlorine so high? I've seen on this website that pH won't be valid. How about cyanuric acid or alkilinity?

Thanks for your quick replies! I just tested. PH is 7.7 and alkalinity is 90. Is it OK to cover the pool for the winter with the chlorine at 9 ppm?
