Thanks for the feedback everybody, I wasn't able to test again before work today, so it'll have to be this afternoon. Hoping for some major drops in my chlorine levels at that time! Eric

    Chlorine High/SWG Off

Hey Jim, Approximately 5-6 weeks ago I reduced it from 50% to 33% as soon as I noticed my levels rising. At the time it was very cold out, 30's overnight 50's daytime (winter in GA). Approximately 2-3 weeks ago I turned my SWG off, kept pool running 8 hrs daily. I just got my solar blanket a...

Hi Jim, 1. Using the drop test included in the TF-100 kit (I'll retest tomorrow after work, maybe before if I have a few extra minutes. (I used the laminated directions, also I have a speed stir that I used.) 2. My SWG has 6 levels of chlorine output, Before I noticed my chlorine spike, I kept...

    Chlorine High/SWG Off

Hi everyone, I'll start with my readings that I took tonight using my TF–100 kit. PH 7.2 FC 30 CC 0-.5 TC 30-30.5 CH 300 TA 120 CYA 55 I'd say my main concern is my chlorine level being at 30 ppm, I've had my salt water generator turned off now for, I'd say a couple weeks. Now I've...

    Expansion Joints

Thats great! I really like my coping, I know there is also a round coping which is bullnose and an inclined coping where it comes out past your pool at the top then comes back in toward the pool at the bottom. There may be more, mine is flat. Eric

    Expansion Joints

Hi everyone, Quik question, do I have to fill in my expansion joints? I have no problem filling them in, just wondering if everyone else does. If it's one of those "yes, you really should do that" things. second, if I should fill them in, what should I use? I have cantilever coping around my...

    Hairline Crack - Cantilever Coping

Hi everyone, I'm not terribly concerned about my concrete having a hairline crack, it's unfortunate that the crack decided to go horizontal instead of vertical with the expansion joint, although there's nothing I can do about that. What I'm wondering is, is there a way to stop it from cracking...

    Heat Pump Run Time suggestions.

Pooldv- Thank you for the response. I wasn't sure if there was a better or worse scenario. I think I'll shut it off and monitor the pool temp over the next few days, into next week. I just don't see us swimming until it's closer to 80 degrees outside.
