Thanks for your help. What about dropping PH to like 5/6 then brushing,would this loosen calcium enough to help? These are in the deep end so draining isn’t an option

You’re. Correct max is 8 on the kit. So it’s a bit of a guess. Regardless of ph. How can I get the calcium off the plaster?

Have a Hayward turbo cell s325 old t9 Was removing to clean and builder had all the wires behind the union and union was to tight to hand loosen. Ended up fraying the outer casing and ripping apart the green wire inside. What are my options? See pic

So I called Pentair, and the tech basically said to manually trigger the flow switch or to cut the wire and manually connect the black and red wire. I ended up clipping the wire and manually trigger the flow switch and it worked. So i've ordered a new flow switch and problem hopefully solved.

I have a 4th season IC60 that worked fine last year. This year at start up it read low salt (2900ppm) added salt nothing changed but all other readings were fine. So to update on this problem. I ended up getting a low reading on my CYA was low about 40 so I added enough to get it to 80...well it brought it over 100 and in doing so my chlorine levels stabilized and I was able to lower my cell run time from 100% down to 20%. My pool has about 1000 sq ft...
