With my experience do NOT buy Jandy equipment. We've replaced everything but filter at least once to 4 times in about a year.

Hey folks Finally got pool builder to replace salt cell, after a year. Low and behold have bubbles out of all returns, only a few bubbles out of 1 return before. FC has been going up everyday instead of down and pool is crystal clear. Thank you all for your ideas and suggestions.

From last Thurs to today 2000 rpm, 45 gpm, cell at 100%. 22 hrs a day. Parameters on the money. FC has gone from 4-5 down to 1. Return water FC is 1 or less.

Here we go again. All tests on the mark. Salt is at 3800. Oclt dropped .5 Pump on all night and swg off. I'm going to run pump 24 hrs swg on boost. I bet it slowly goes on down. As others have stated and pool company, at these settings there should be enough Fc being made to bleach everything...

Just got new 1766 test kit. Same readings as all others I have used. 3800 salinity. FC chlorine down to 3. I'll do set of tests in the morning. OCLT tonight. Doug

Just ordered 1766. Not sure how 3 tests can all be off but we will see. Little tough working thru this now as it has rained 3" in the last day.

I've used the aquachek strips for salt and never ran into a problem. Checked with pool store and other tests ( never the same answer )Everyone says not to go over a certain point but with some tests how do you know where you you are?
