I bought and installed a Vevor mesh pool cover for my inground pool. One obstacle is a 1.5" diameter / 4" tall water feature stub up that is in the way of having it perfect. Can I cut a 2" circle out of the mesh portion or will that cause chaos? I've Googled to no avail and used the "contact us"...

My STA-RITE Max-E-Pro P6E6D-205L just finished its 6th year of service. While it still seems to run well it is making a little more noise than it use to. I'm considering buying a replacement just to have on-hand. That way I will have time to shop price instead of having to run to the pool store...
