Pool robots and water features at the water line

lol I see that. Oh well. I have been just running the cycle with no waterline cleaning (floor and walls). Honestly my walls stay really clean. My last robot just cleaned the floor and everything was fine.

    Wybot C1 Review

What expert mode patterns did you have the best luck with? On the back and forth one, it works pretty well in my free form pool but it misses some small stuff at the radius where the floor meets the wall in some spots. I'm thinking of trying the one that looks like a star.

    New pump and SWG recommend

Yes my RJ-30 is very low amp. Around or less than 1 on 220 IIRC.

    New pump and SWG recommend

I have the Intelloflo3 with relay board and no touch screen. It was cheaper to buy the relay board and pump separately, and its very easy to install. Its an expensive pump so every little bit of savings mattered to me. I don't miss the touchscreen at all if it matters. I have had zero wifi...

Pool robots and water features at the water line

For the short time I had a dolphin working, it made a bunch of noise when cleaning the waterline at the waterfall rocks. I now have a Wybot, and I am concerned the rocks will tear up the scrubbing brush. Does anyone have any experience with this?

New Zodiac MX-6 Middle Engine Housing fit

Well Dang I stand corrected. Mine looks like yours. The upper housing has been replaced twice and the bottom once, so I guess it’s ok? Honestly I wouldn’t buy this thing again. It’s great at maintaining a clean pool, but any weather event that resulted in a lot of leaves clogged it up fast. I...

New Zodiac MX-6 Middle Engine Housing fit

I have an MX-8 and it should be flush. I can take pictures for you later. I would return it.

Featured Circupool Core Control 55 Initial Thoughts

Thanks for the review. I am a big fan of my RJ-30+ but of course I cant control it with my phone like my new pump, so your review piqued my interest. How is the app? I just looked at the price and Dang. The Core Control 35 is more expensive than the IC-40. I suppose I would still need Pentair's...

Thinking about getting a new Pentair pump

I believe code requires a disconnect. I just wired it to my Intermatic timer and took off the on/off clips.

    When to replace pumps?

What pumps do you have now? No one can tell you how much it should cost without that and pictures. If you stick with the same product line/brand sometimes the plumbing is minimal. Sometimes not. I just replaced a 20 year old Pentair Whisperflo with an Intelliflo and the suction was the same...

Trash Pump vs Portable Pool Pump for Initial Cleaning

I own a small sump pump, it takes quite a while to drain half the pool. I once rented a trash pump and it did its thing in minutes. If I had to do it again I would just rent the trash pump for 4 hours.

Thinking about getting a new Pentair pump

If your pump is still in working order I would invest in the salt cell first. My only regret is not doing it sooner. Lugging bottles of LC all the time sucked.

    PVC prep

Rounding the edge with sandpaper is good enough. You just need to knock that sharp edge off. I would sand all the paint off that you can. Primer and glue should take care of whatever little bit is left behind. If possible, spin the pipe in the fitting 1/4 a turn or so when glueing. If you are...
