Does this or any model skim pollen and dog hair well? I just don’t feel removing leaves is that useful but a pollen/hair would be awesome.

Thanks for the replies My current one is not variable speed. I assumed probably incorrectly that running at slower speeds just doesn’t do as much? Is there any way to figure out which pump is the quietest but compatible? I find the Hayward web site to be mediocre at best.

My pump as what I believe is typical is getting louder with age. I always wanted a quieter situation but now am motivated to do something. What is the best sound proofing system out there for pumps?

Interestingly enough tonight I tried again and it worked . Hopefully it will keep working.

Not yet I’m trying to figure what I possibly could have accidentally messed up. Didn’t adjust any settings. Don’t recall even touching anything besides the chlorinator and the filter. Cleaned the chlorinator with water and muric acid and replaced the filters.

I was mistaken it does it on hot tub too but less so. It got to 95 on hot tub then got lo code. A few minutes later started heating again. It’s set for 104. The pool is around 70 and only heats for a minute
