Wow.. not real comforting. I always thought the drop tests were fairly accurate. I guess for now I'll just try and keep the SWG happy and keep an eye on what the taylor test is reporting.

Ok I ordered the 2006 and also the 1766 to test my salt. No more trips to the pool store. Should I worry about bringing the TA down or just let it slowly come down as I care for the PH?

Hi, I just install an above ground oval pool 18x33. Filled the pool with well water over 2 days. Got the water high enough to run the pump late Sunday night. Added recommended salt and stabilizer and let the pump run 24 hours. Turned on SWG monday night and let run until 6pm Tuesday at 70%...
