I hear it mostly through the other skimmer. Never heard this before

Thanks, but nothing in any of the hose sections or the vaccum. We even put a new vaccum on the end and as soon as we plug the other end into the skimmer we hear that humming from both skimmers. Poltergeist?

Hello Everyone, A new summer comes a new issue. Just started yesterday. When the vaccum is running a hum comes from the skimmers, but when the vaccum not running no hum. When we rwmove half the hose links no hum, but adding the hose links back it hums. We are dumbfounded and baffled🤣 Any ideas?

Hello Everyone, Our hayward push pull backwash slide valve was slightly leaking at the elbow of the waste pipe. Not enough to come all the way to the end, but just enough to drip slightly at 1st elbow. We have replaced all o rings and still have the issue. Now what? I appreciate any help Thanks

I was only concerned due to the 7.1 magnitude earthquake on the 5th. It rocked us for about 50 seconds because we are so far from the epicenter. About 170 miles. Such a large rolling here in ViewPoint homes off of Camino Las Ramblas.(the very first houses here) We lost about 3 inches of water...

Well thank you for that information. I dont know since you live in a different climate that the evaporation would be the same here. Your weather is much hotter than here, but I guess it all depends on the temp difference between water and air usually at night.

If the o rings in that bacck wash valve had a small leak wouldnt that ortega check valve right before the filter which is circled in the picture keep the water from flowing back?
