Hey Chenn001 - I thought I’d update you. We decided to go with the Quest model. 8 inch resin rails, 8 inch verticals, resin top and bottom stabilizers. Seems like a much better pool than both the 5000 and 8000 in our studies.

Hey @kennywayne34 - I'm deeply considering the 5000 vs 8000 pools - on the 8000 by "kinda loosey goosey" what do you mean? Were they a difficult install or since completed the pool the railings are still a little loose all around? Also - would you still recommend doing a half bury on the pool...

I'm starting to consider just doing the 8000. I feel the 5000 would be totally fine but it's one of those things where it's $350ish more for the 8000 vs 5000. After talking with The Pool Factory more, I agree the aquapro filter 2 speed system is the way to go.

Thanks Texas Splash! With a hot tub being chlorine we’re happy with it so why have a chlorine hot tub and a salt water pill is out thought. The Quest is by The Pool Factory. So we’ve got it narrowed to Signature RTL, Saltwater 5000, Saltwater 8000 or the Quest. Honestly getting closer to...

I’ll also add that my wife has raised the question - what’s the difference between the Quest and the Saltwater 5000. Asking since we’re doing chlorine if the Quest is the best option. My head hurts….
