    Green pool with 0 CC

I've had my solar cover on for several weeks trying to warm up the pool. I knew there was debree under it but have been managing the water. I came home today and the GF had taken off the solar cover and while the water was clear it was green on the bottom I started sweeping to get everything in...

    pH Keeps Rising?

I'm new to this forum , but you said previously you had a SWG you're not currently using. I'm sure someone else will correct me if I'm wrong with either of these points but reactivating your SWG may further exasperated your PH problems. It sounds to me that instead bringing your borate levels up...

I’m glad I found this site as well. I’ve had friends through the years struggling to manage their water. I never knew it could be done so simply. In the future I’ll have this resource to offer them.

I hadn’t thought of that. Great idea. As far as the SWG goes, I’m not looking at going that route with this pool. We may be moving to Jacksonville in the next year and will be looking for a home with a pool.

There are two intakes but they are both on the same side of the return. I think because of that design I am essentially cutting off flow to 1/2 the pool. My thought is to run a longer hose to the second skimmer and put into the other side of the return so water flows more in a mushroom pattern...

Thanks for the tip Kim I’ll ask my neighbor if the hose on his shopvac is long enough, mine isn’t. Any thoughts on adding a second intex surface skimmer?

you can see the pile of pebbles in the right side. I’ll take a dust pan and hand broom to it when the water is warm enough.

Taylor k-2006. I may go for the tf100 next year. I didn’t know about them when I bought my first kit, I just researched titration test kits for pools and that’s the one I thought was best.
