I tried Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) on these stains and it removed all the stains. I still have some above and at the water line that it did not remove. It is like a hard water stain.

Thanks for the info. I live in South Louisiana, in an area that gets just a few nights of freezing weather. Sometimes into the teens. Pool temp has reached 78 and heading down with more cool nights coming in this week. My pool pump time is set for 8am to 6pm. Should I start reducing this time...

Thanks, we had a plan for our backyard and it didn't include grass. The trees may become a problem though. We are waiting one month to switch to salt, but the chlorine hasn't been that bad yet.

This will be close to the final design. We didn't want the cured tanning ledge and depth stays at around 4 ft overall, except for the middle will be 4'6".

We are doing a 15 x 32 x 4 ft deep saltwater pool with a 5 ft tanning ledge and 18" bench area along each end. Wish us well on our new adventure, 1st pool.:o
