    Omnilogic Firmware 4.3

Mobile App has been less flakey in the past 2 weeks than is normal. I saw the 4.1.1 upgrade available but not I’m not moving forward on that one until Hayward explains it a bit more.

Best robot cleaner that is *available now* (we waited too long)

My mom was looking for a robot cleaner for her similarly sized pool as the OP. Marina told her the Explorer E30 would do well. $769 shipped. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between the E30 and the S200/Active 20, and I'm not seeing much of a difference.

1/3 Water Replacement Resulted in Curious Water Chemistry

The FC/CYA Chart has me at the target of 5ppm (SWG, CYA=70). Luckily with my TCELL15 and only 11k gallon pool, it's easier to overshoot the FC than undershoot. I'm watching it closely, as I anticipate the daily FC demand to be much higher than the current 1ppm as we get further into late...

1/3 Water Replacement Resulted in Curious Water Chemistry

Great idea; sound logic. Fill water: pH: 7.0 TA: 30 CH: 25

1/3 Water Replacement Resulted in Curious Water Chemistry

My primary problem was a salt level of 4800. My PB overestimated my pool volume and severely messed up my initial chemical balance. Since CYA was virtually 0, virtually everything else was way off, and my SWG didnt' seem to mind salt being 4800 ppm, I figured I could make it work. So I spent...

Is there a point where oversizing SWG is not beneficial?

I have this problem now. My PB put in a TCELL-15 rated for 40k gallons on my 11k gallon pool. At first, I thought it was a great problem to have. The main issue is how easy it is to over-chlorinate the pool. My PB set my SWG at 50% for 24 hours a day to start and it took me 2-3 days before I...

Wonky SWG Output Not Matching Automation Settings

So I just saw another discussion about 180 minute duty cycles. If I have it set to 1 hour @ 75%, that means it was running for at least 135 minutes each day? That would explain the 8ish total hours of runtime. Should my minimum schedule be a 3 hour block of time? 25% for 3 hours would still...

Wonky SWG Output Not Matching Automation Settings

I have a Hayward T-15 Turbo Cell SWG. I measured my daily FC loss at around .5 ppm. Pulled up PoolMath and looked at the relative settings on my SWG, which was 1 hour a day at 75%. I set a schedule for my SWG to run from 9:15am to 10:15am. For 3 days, this schedule ran and I measured FC on...

New Build: Fiberglass, Inground Pool in Augusta, GA (Lots of Pics)

Just venting here.... Did my first battery of tests last night on my water. PB was responsible for "initial balancing of chemicals" and despite my gut telling me otherwise, I didn't protest. FC: 12 (4x oversized SWG running at 50% 24 hours a day will do that, I have it turned off) CC: 0 PH...

    Pool Math App in IOS

I did the exact same thing for a couple days and was frustrated with re-inputting the data. Then it clicked! "Doh!", indeed!

New Build: Fiberglass, Inground Pool in Augusta, GA (Lots of Pics)

Great info, thanks! I'll let it run until it gets somewhere around 9-10 ppm (80 CYA) and then cut it off when we get 2-3 days of sunny weather. Then I'll redo it in Summer to get an idea of the change. I'm assuming there's no chemical difference between 40% for 12 hours or 20% for 24 hours...

    Pool Math App in IOS

Did you create a new log by tapping "add new log" and "add test results"? Or are you adding them on the dashboard? The latter does not save the results, but gives you advice for getting to your target. Sounds like you just need to "add test results".

New Build: Fiberglass, Inground Pool in Augusta, GA (Lots of Pics)

I have an ~11k gallon inground, fiberglass pool with a Hayward 940 SWG, which I believe is the professionally-installed version of the T-15 Cell). It produces 1.45 lbs of chlorine a day and is rated for a 40,000 gallon pool (4x my pool) My PB has it programmed for 50% 24 hours a day. That seems...

New Build: Fiberglass, Inground Pool in Augusta, GA (Lots of Pics)

I picked up my TF-100 and speedstir before I even picked my pool shell color! I'm not too worried about the water yet, as they'll be in next week to balance it once the electrician does his thing. I trust these guys to get the initial chemicals put in and I'll take over at that point. I'm...

New Build: Fiberglass, Inground Pool in Augusta, GA (Lots of Pics)

We recently moved to our new property for the sole purpose of getting a pool. We chose a relatively flat, corner, 1/3 acre lot in a subdivision. We would've loved to get out of a subdivision, but our choices were limited. Pool Specs: Inground, Fiberglass Leisure Pools USA, Riviera 34' (14.5 x...
