I recently added a Stenner pump with 15 gallon tank. It runs off a digital timer on my equipment pad, and 30 mins. a day during my pump cycle keeps my FC right where I want it. I manually add acid 1x a week, and all is well. Entire tank/pump ran about $400, but it really simplified life for me.

I bought the Stenner fixed rate 45MP2, 10 gallon per day, 25psi model attached to a 15 gallon tank from Poolweb.com for $366 shipped. It came in yesterday and I'm ready to install today. I'll be using a Wood's outdoor timer. Looking forward to this upgrade.

Another vote for the Skybell HD. I got mine from Amazon and it works perfectly. A couple of neighbors who had Ring bells switched to Skybell after seeing the clarity and night images of my Skybell. This coupled with 5 Arlo Pro wireless cams gives me great video coverage of the entire property.

+100 for the Taylor Sample Sizer. Your method may work, but still too much effort. With the Sample Sizer you simply plunge into the vial to get either 10ml or 25ml exactly every time. With that device and a speed stir, daily FC testing takes all of 60 seconds.

I've had my Doheny Discovery for a few months now, and I run it through a double cycle about once a week. Flawless so far, and I'm amazed at the amount of dirt it pulls out of my pool that looked pretty darn clean before I ran the robot. Not sure why everyone despises the lack of a cord...

I have had their skimmer basket for about 9 months with no issues. It seems to work well. I also bought their round brush, and I really like that design for getting into corners.
