    Adjust Calcium Hardness before Closing?

    You can't take the calcium out but you can put it in jail so to speak with a sequestering agent. Just about any pool store will carry a scale inhibitor or sequestering agent for high calcium. And I would definitely take care of it before you close it.

    black marks on gray plaster

    We just plastered a pool gray and something from a nearby tree seems to have fallen off, sort of small berry maybe? and stained the new plaster with little dark black streaks. Has anyone else run into this problem? And if so, any solutions to removing the stain?
