    New quartz plaster startup advice

I need some start up advice. We just had our pool re-plastered with a light blue quartz and it is starting to develop some streaks in the color. Nothing terrible yet but I just want to make sure I am doing everything I should be to make sure it will even out as much as possible. The plaster...

    Waterline Tile Question

I may have answered my own question after reading more posts. Sounds like the consensus is that small tiles with mesh backing is a bad idea.

    Waterline Tile Question

We finally settled on a plaster company to re-plaster our pool so now I am trying to decide if I want to replace the waterline tiles. We currently have blue 2 x 2 which are ok but they have some calcium build up that would need to be cleaned/blasted off so I am tempted to do new tile just to...

Now I just have to get the fill water tested and if it has low metal content I will probably drain/dilute a significant portion of the water just so I can get it out of there...

    stain treatment or acid wash??

I will try the vitamin C test tonight. I am sure that is what is in one of the packets in the "stain ID" kit from jacks magic. Basically has you test 3 different powders on the stain and identify which combination work best. According to the instructions the one that worked the best for me said...

    stain treatment or acid wash??

My pool has some pretty severe staining. It was there when we bought it 3 years ago and it hasnt gotten worse but I am ready to get rid of it so I am looking for feedback on the best option. Several local people suggested I try the Jack's Magic stain removers so I bought the stain ID kit and...
