Mastertemp Heater Igniter Resistance?
Two things real quick. Well, maybe three. Try running TWO ground wires. One from the flame holder (thin metal plate where you have it in right the second time), and another from the bolt on the manifold. Run them both back to the yellow ground wire inside your control box. I've read this...- Cpc

Excessive evaporation, I think
Couple quick things. When pool is full and pump running are you seeing any bubbles in your pump pot? Does it prime up quickly? You say it's "below" the skimmer(s) right now, but is it PAST the very bottom the skimmer box? I would recommend shutting down system (pull trippers on timers - disable...- Cpc

Thinking about a no cover close next fall
I've got 4 customers with VERY large and long waterfalls that make covering..... Interesting shall we say? After blowing money on "trash bag" covers and researching astronomical cost of a safety cover, we went cover-less for a season. Water is cheap here and we can drain and clean these...- Cpc

New plaster pool start up - should I run pump on high?
Brush, brush, brush and then brush some more. Stay on top of your PH too. Both actions here will pay off LONG TERM. I didn't see what kind of filter you had. If it's DE backwash it (even pop it and rinse it down real good if you can) and recharge it every week for first few weeks. Cartridge...- Cpc
