Quick update for the day. The plaster company came out on Wednesday and repaired the rust spot. It looked like a bristle from a wire brush, which I definitely have not used on the pool since the plaster was applied. They dug out the spot and think they got all of the metal out of the surface...

I’m actually planning on it in a bit. The water is 69°, so that should be plenty warm for an innagural dip. I contacted the plaster company and their warranty/service people will be reaching out to me soon.
