I agree it is a legit question. Maybe I misunderstood the context it was put in. I maintain their pool pumps, filters, etc, and do other handyman type jobs when needed in my spare time. I am on the payroll as a part time employee.

After bringing a pool to shock level, do you put the cover on for closing at that level or let it drift back down. My shock level will be around 25 ppm based on my CYA I have read the Pool School closing instructions, but want to be clear. Thanks
