My issue is this. My brand new Hayward VS Pump will only prime correctly when in recirculate. When in filter mode it struggles to prime. There are a small amount of air bubbles out of the returns in filter mode but none in recirculating mode. Logic tells me that the spider valve is under...

Nope nothing changed and I can blow thru the top and bubbles come of the jet. I can put my finger in the jet and feel something moving around in it, so maybe the inside of both jets are broken? How do I repair the jets?

Hi, Recently my pool step jets have stopped blowing air bubbles when I open the caps on the top of the stairs. Water comes out just fine and with plenty of force. This worked fine a week ago, now all of a sudden no air bubbles. Any ideas on what caused this? Thanks in advance Bill
