Ok, so I have it on 10% at the moment, it was on this morning, it is now 10:03 and it is not on (says “Percentage met”), so I am not sure about that.

When it is “done” it says “Chlorinator Off Percentage met”, which leads me to believe it is off after a certain time.

I have a Goldline (Hayward) Pro Logic system. I have generally been able to properly control my chlorine by adjusting the “Pool Chlorinator %” setting. But, I am confused about what it means. I thought it meant 20% of my pool runtime. So, if I run my pool from 8-5, the chlorinator should run...

Ok, so I purchased http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FP ... UTF8&psc=1 from amazon. It has made a huge difference. The temperature difference between the different sensors is now about 0-2F.

For the last two years I have had my pool, it has really frustrated me that the water temperature (that decides if the heater should run) was very inaccurate. If the sun is out, it could be 5-10F different then what either the sensor in the Heat Pump thinks the water is, the sensor in the salt...

So, the pool company is out here replacing the pump (under warranty) with a Hayward Tri-Star Dual (of similar HP). The pump seems to be about half the size of the failed (Northstar) pump. Hopefully it works well for us (yes, it is being replaced for no $$).

If the pump lost prime, would the pump still be 100% full of water? Is this sort of thing covered under the warranty (for the pump)? Also, the pump is about 5' above the pool, which might be why they have such a large pump. As I said, on low speed, there isn't enough flow (except immediately...
