    How to restore faded chalky resin pool rails

    The Synpro resin top rails on my Vogue Simbio pool have discolored and a chalky residue comes off when you touch them. Is there any products I can use to restore or coat them? I tried contacting Vogue but they don’t reply and the pool store won’t replace them.

    Also how do I know that the “cell type” is correct for the box? I read that if you change to a different number cell you also have to change it in the box. What is the correct number for the T5?

    JamesW is the T5 the right size for the 21 foot pool? I think it’s 10,,400 gallons. The pool tech told me he has a T3 but another person said that one won’t last very long. Is this correct? Would it be better to get something Larger?

    The pool does not have a flow switch. It is 21 foot. Unfortunately the receipt shows 3 years and 3 months. My pool store said they can’t get any cells right now. Is there somewhere reputable online?

    13 year old Hayward pool skimmer plate cover is getting stuck and hard to turn to get off. Is this due to hard water deposits and if so how to fix it.
