Yeah, but the equalizer line is like 1 foot at most. Anything that may have been deposited there is cleared out. Haven't found any leaks yet, so I guess I'm going to have to rip the filter apart again. Sigh.

It is not the first time, but I made a slurry and poured into the skimmer. No issues the previous times I did it!

Perhaps the manifold or some other mating parts didn't quite met-up properly letting DE flow backwards? I had to work fairly hard to get everything perfectly back into place, so I'm leaning toward no on this one. Any chance you over-charged with too much DE? I added 6 pounds of DE, which is...

Hey folks, I just had my waterline tile replaced, cleaned the pool up, cleaned the filter (Pentair DE), etc. And I just noticed this cloud of ?? Pouring out of the little hole in the wall below the skimmer and settling in the deep end. Must have happened over the course of an hour? Any thoughts...

@YippeeSkippy @JamesW @Jimrahbe - I do have a couple of drains at the bottom, though why wouldn't they be needed? @Pool_Medic - Yes, I do have have two skimmers. Possible its that and not the main drains as our cohorts, above, mentioned?

Bought a new home in August, just now really getting to know my pool and equipment, and can't figure out what this valve might control. Turning it doesn't appear to have a noticeable effect on operation, but I can hear water rush through when I close/open it. Thoughts?
