Thanks. Yeah i can't get them snug on the bottom at all. They move with the slightest touch. I think I will ordered the ones on amazon. Save about $50 vs. the pool store. And I will just run the filter without the cartridges until the new ones from Amazon arrive.

The manufacturer, of the filters also suggests a TSP cleaning if stubborn staining is present. I never had a problem with stains like this with our pool at the old house so I am just hoping with a drain and re-fill and new filter cartridges that subsequent cleanings will not show the same...
