Not sure what I do wrong, but I have an intex sand filter/pump, and I always seem to find a small amount of sand when im vaccuming. The filter is quite new, and the same thing happened with my previous filter as well.

Has anyone come up with a simple/cheap way to protect their sand filter from the rain? I've just had to order a new one and would like to protect it. I'm up for building something simple myself but cant seem to come up with an actual plan other than sticking 4 wooden posts into the ground...

Ended up taking it apart slightly more than planned, the noise seems to be coming from inside the motor. When i turn the end I can hear the squeak :(

My rope for my intex frame pool is pretty much useless now, I've read on here about ratchet straps, just wondering if anyone could provide me with any information or pictures of how theyve done it? Also how long will the ratchet strap need to be for a 15ft pool?

Is there anyway to extending this type of intex hose by connecting another one to it? A small adapter that I could screw each side into would be ideal but I don't know if that exists!

I've bought another like the one I had before after a man in a pool shop advised me not to get a frame one with the unlevel ground, it's filling up but one side is about 2 inches deeper than the other at the moment, yikes!
