    Sorry that I just saw your post, but Merlin absolutely makes a thick, floating spa cover that resembles more of a traditional cover. I looked into it for my kidney shaped, interior spa. Good luck!

    Yay! I just ordered my Active 20 from Marina. They said that I would need to purchase the more expensive 30i for the extra basket so I just let that go. FYI They are out of the S series for a couple weeks.

    How to paint aluminum coping

    I used spray paint. It has chipped some after 2 years of Rochester winters but it looks way better than before. I think a clear sealer would work well on top. They do have clear with a gripper but I haven't tried it.

    I had 7 leaks in my liner. I tried to find them on my own...dye, bucket test, etc. Finally, the company putting in a new liner for me came out and did a leak detection so that my pool would be usable while the new liner came in. Wow! They did the electronic charge and found 4 on the stairs...

    One pool company suggested that I don't do the iridescent because our pool would show imperfections more...its from 1973. Actually, he said "it's like yoga pants...it shows everything."
