New heater install - power hook-up

Hey all, installing a new heater, Raypak 200K atmospheric model. My question is: when hooking up the 120VAC power, is it to be continuous power or should I hook it up to my pump timer? So power is on when pump is on and off when pump off? All help is appreciated as usual!

    Pool Light Sealing Ring?

Howdy Folks. Can a pentair pool light sealing ring be changed without draining the pool below the light? I replaced my liner last spring and the pool light sealing ring has a rust spot which is leaving a stain on my new liner. Seem to me it can be done "quickly" just want to be sure before I...

Mesh Safety Cover - winter damage?

Thanks JohnT, I figured the age of the liner had something to do with it and was anticipating replacing the liner in the near future (now!) I just want to be sure I don't destroy a new liner next winter shut down. Any insight on suggested mil thickness of a new liner? Thanks again.

Mesh Safety Cover - winter damage?

So, to ease my spring openings, I installed a mesh safety cover last fall. I drained to a level recommended by the cover manufacture. This weekend, being as nice as it was, I started thinking pool! So I did a walk around to check things out. Noticed that the water was 1 foot lower than what I...

    New member and pool owner.

Thanks for the replies, The previous owner had water trucked in at $3-400 a pop. That seemes kind of excess to me! I did stop at a local pool shop and they said they never heard of pumping a well dry from filling a pool (in the area). I asked about the iron content from the well water and...

    New member and pool owner.

Hello, Recently bought a house with a inground 25000 gal pool. The house has well water and was wondering if I can top off the pool for spring opening with the well water? I've heard a couple of cons on filling with a well. A. you could dry up your well and B. you could have a hard time getting...
