During my build the sleeves went in with the plaster. The gunite crew left a rough hole for them to work with.

Here you go. Thanks for looking. Just because I hated not knowing what finishes people had, this is Ginger concrete, Moriah flag/California gold stacked stone veneer, white plaster and NPT essence Imperial glass tiles. We used 1x2's on the waterline, 1x1's on the seats, steps and baja deck...

Well we finished it. Lost our nerve on gray plaster and went with white. Very happy. Upgraded to glass tile, too.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I really like the deck colors you selected and I can only find the name of the coping in your write-up. What dye color did you use in the deck itself and since it's been a while, how is it all holding up?
