Strange i have a filter basket. Maybe aglae thats not getting backwashed? The pool was a swamp when i cleaned it back up

Im suddenly having an issue with my filter. The pressure is steadily in the middle of yellow no matter how much i back wash. Now i dont have enough water flow to run my intex vaccum. I have a swg as well.

Its 20x10x48 coleman oval pool

Its 15000 gallon. If i wanted to keep pool at 5 fc with cya of 45 how long should i be running and what time of day? Its full sun and its been 95-100 everyday

It smelled when i back washed but i think that was From running it right after the contamination

I dont see or smell anything now. I shut pump off last night/. Could it have been so little that its already gone? The salt was in plastic bags so im not sure how much actually soaked in

I finally got my pool clear. Bought a new swg arriving tomorrow. Put the salt in tonight and smell something awful. My husband informs me a diesel can spilled on way home from lowes and got diesel on bags. Bags had sat back of truck for a week or more in this diesel. So... some must of absorbed...

So it’s not dangerous for pressure to run 10?

So I did have it backwards but doesn’t seem to matter as far as pressure. Air is bled out. As soon as it’s hooked up running or not the pressure goes borderline yellow. I have Intex 3000 gph sand filter

I may of had it backwards I’ll look. I have it hooked up after output of sand filter and then to return.

Well I hooked up my new sand filter which is more powerful and it’s causing pressure to building up. I’ve backwashes and rinse twice but I figured out it’s the swg. When I unhooked it the pressure goes down. Odd. I’m just going to leave it off and use chlorine for now 😔
