So today oddly enough, I was moving it around in manual mode. It still struggles to turn right. When I got bored I let it go back to floor only mode and it completed the whole 2 hours. Not well but it was better than nothing. Still researching a replacement.

When I put it away for the winter, yes it was working. Put it in the water this spring for a clean up, and it didn’t even turn on to do the test. So I started with the cord first as it was looking very rough. After replacing the cord, it turns on, runs its test and then it started cleaning...

I’m right in that 3-5 yrs. It did the test and I could see the water move on the surface but then it just shuts down. Guess that means there is an electrical issue somewhere.

Yeah, I think that’s the plan for now. My only other option that I could find was buying a whole new motor unit, if I can find one. Marina pools only seems to sell them if you send the unit to them for installation. Nobody sells just the lid part of the motor unit. thanks Jim.

So title says what happened for the most part. Trying to replace my cord on my active 30i and it went badly. Cord was very stuck and I yanked it after drilling a small hole to get wd40 in the break up some of the probable corrosion. See picture for reference. Any advice on how to unf*** this...

Same here, although my son is on the same Amazon account and Alexa must think I’m him sometimes. I get some weird gangster rap occasionally, with heavy bass and lots of swearing. Really messes with the chill vibe.

The motor should only be $25 and is very easy to replace. edit: well that didn’t work out. No one has the motor in stock guess I’m spending the extra $40.

Killed power so I didn‘t get cooked. played with it a bit and the gears coming off the motor are very loose. There are 3 motors that might fit. Which one do I get? Motor choices

That’s what I thought. I’ll have to kill the power and take apart the panel.
