I live in South Texas and the water is not enjoyable in the summer months....88-90 degrees. I swim laps & do aerobic exercise so this is not good. I have the pool misters but they just don't cool it enough. Any suggestions on pool chillers and what would be economic as far as the running of it.

I have variable speed pump, new pool. How many hours do I need to run at what time of the day and at what speed? I'm using cool misters to cool the water so would like to run at night. I live in Texas and it's super hot right now!

Pool company had me set spa to spillover 1 hour 3 times daily.....is that necessary. Not even heating spa during summer as don't want pool water hot!

So I should remove my cool misters for now?? They really seem to be cooling the pool a bit!!
