    Direction overlooked?

So I think that absolutely works. Our lot doesn't have as much of an angle as yours, but here's what we ended up doing to counter the angle, not dissimilar to what you're proposing. It's actually wrapped more than I recall it being, just goes to show I don't notice it:

    Direction overlooked?

We have similar lots in our neighborhood and faced this dilemma with our own pool build. In the end we went freeform rather than geometric which made it less of an issue in our case though we had decided to align it with the house, not the lot in either case. All the pools in our neighborhood...

Frisco, TX Start Up complete 10/26/16 *updated with pics*

Re: New Frisco, TX Pool Build Looks like it's going to be great! Having to wait is always difficult. On the rendering of the outdoor kitchen, I note there are stools behind the grill on the raised bar area. Just a word of warning that you won't want to sit there if the grill is on. They may...

New Pool w/ Falls & Slide in Baton Rouge, LA

I'm still not 'done' three years later!! Glad you like the slide. I wasn't sure if the novelty would wear off but ours still gets lots of use.

Unfortunately not... They rescheduled and I had to be at work. They'd left before my wife went to ask them.

Slide was refinished yesterday morning. Have to wait until tomorrow to test it but it looks promising.

Cost of concrete decking per sq ft?

$6.50/sqft for the concrete, $5.50/sqft for the stamped overlay and coloring (effectively a kool deck application). Worth noting that stamped concrete and stamped overlay are a little different. Stamped concrete is where the concrete itself is stamped and colored whilst still curing and gas to...

Decking on hold until next summer?

Another option if you're willing to do a stamped overlay is pour the minimum deck now and leave it unfinished concrete, add the remaining deck next year and apply a stamped overlay to both. The below shoes mine with a 3 year difference in pour time between the slab under the covered patio and...

    New build, Houston (Cypress), Tx

So nearly three years later and I guess like a lot of people with gunite slides, it's no longer as slick as it used to be. I did a bunch of research on refinishing it myself but although I saw the question as to what to use to seal it asked a lot I couldn't find conclusive answers or...

    Dry well/french drain

I've done it. Sink is only really to rinse hands, put ice in etc so I decided to go that route. Only had the kitchen in a couple of weeks but so far so good.

    Outdoor kitchen location opinions

Been a lot of progress in a week! Gas and plumbing hookup should be done tomorrow otherwise other than minor things (handle on fridge etc) everything's prettying done.
