So I think that absolutely works. Our lot doesn't have as much of an angle as yours, but here's what we ended up doing to counter the angle, not dissimilar to what you're proposing. It's actually wrapped more than I recall it being, just goes to show I don't notice it:

Unfortunately not... They rescheduled and I had to be at work. They'd left before my wife went to ask them.

I've done it. Sink is only really to rinse hands, put ice in etc so I decided to go that route. Only had the kitchen in a couple of weeks but so far so good.

Been a lot of progress in a week! Gas and plumbing hookup should be done tomorrow otherwise other than minor things (handle on fridge etc) everything's prettying done.
