I have finished the start up new plaster procedure and added the recommended amount of salt which dissolved more quickly than I expected. I tested the water and have 3,400 ppm salt. I read that the SWG should stay off for 24 hours, is that necessary or can I turn it on?

Thank you again. So far I have been able to keep the PH well below 8 (still just the first day). I have some trichlor tablets ready for day three. Once I get chlorine, cya, ch, ta and ph to the desired levels, I assume it will be safe to swim?

What if I use the built in timer on the SWG (the CircuPool RJ30 has a timer)? For example, if I set the pump to come on at 8:00 am and shut off at 2:00 pm I can program the SWG to come on at 8:30 and shut down at 1:30. This would give enough time difference between the two clocks so I won't have...
