    Best Overall algaecide

    If there is anyone from Central New York here, have you had issues with green algae this season? If so, how did you clear it up? Is there 1 all-purpose algaecide on the market that is effective?

    Hello everyone. Been a pool owner for 20 years and still have issues with pool chemicals. I relied on a grocer who really knew pools.

    That was great.until he passed away. Now I'm in the weeds and spending a ton of money trying to get the pool chemicals balanced. I had a green pool from Mother's Day until last week. Don't know what I did to clear it up. I still can't keep chlorine in the pool.
