    Looks exactly like the pollen I have collected. In fact I wiped off an outdoor table this evening and got the same yellow fuzzy stuff. I will link a pic of my sock filter for you tomorrow.

    I have the same stuff in my pool. I really think it is some type of pollen. I have been using a sock filter in the skimmer and rinsing every 24 hours. It is a yellowish orange color once it is caught and accumulated in the sock filter.
