Help...Pentair check valve flapper installation question

Ok I'm an idiot. The old flapper's rubber gasket was stuck inside the circle of the housing (think 2 gaskets smushing each other), that's why it wasn't seating properly/flush all the way. Question, now that I have the flapper installed...is it supposed to open sort of slowly and only about...

Help...Pentair check valve flapper installation question

It was an OEM replacement off Amazon. It was from a pool supplier and it appears to look identical to the old one I am replacing. I'm tempted to call the local pool store and see if they have one in stock to compare.

Help...Pentair check valve flapper installation question

I was replacing the flapper portion of my Pentair check valve on my spa return line, but noticed it didn't quite seat flush all the way. There was maybe an 1/8"-1/16th" gap between the clear plastic face and the face of the flange on the black housing. When I screwed it in tighter to try and...

Help...jandy valve leaking under top knob?

Thanks brother! Is that diagram pic and part list for my Pentair valve? Just want to make sure that I replace all 3 o-rings with the right part numbers. I'm looking for one of item 6 (part # 51016200Z) and two of item 8 (part # 192039Z)...correct?

Help...jandy valve leaking under top knob?

That's the 2 smaller ones correct? Will I need to remove the 8 screws or can I access it from knob piece on the top? Also, do I lubricate those 2 o-rings? Would you happen to know the part number or size o-ring I would need?

Help...jandy valve leaking under top knob?

I noticed today that my main return jandy valve is leaking right below the top knob (red circle where arrow is pointing), but only when turned one way...when it's turned to pool off (as pictured) and the water is diverted only to my spa (where the handle is pointing). When I divert the flow back...

    Help...MasterTemp pool heater not working!

Poolman (and the others who responded) thanks for the help! I changed out the thermal regulator which was rusted out pretty bad (wouldn't open up and wasn't even seated properly), with a new thermal regulator and it seems to be working again. I attached a picture of the old rusted one for reference.

Trying to figure out why spa (raised) is losing water

@1poolman1, could a crack in the plastic of the air bleeder assembly (small air leak I can hear when pump is off) where the pressure gauge screws in at cause the spa to slowly lose water?

Trying to figure out why spa (raised) is losing water

Poolman, could a small air leak in my T-piece (plastic is cracked where the pressure gauge screws into) on top my sand filter cause the spa to lose water? I just noticed today that it is cracked and has a very small air leak coming from the crack. I could hear it when my pump was turned off.

Trying to figure out why spa (raised) is losing water

Ahhhh thanks for the explanation. I'll start with the check valve and remove the flapper to inspect it. I actually don't even see the flapper open up when I open flow to the spa...is that normal? I'm thinking it might be stuck somewheres in the middle (halfway open).
