Hello for a while now my PH has always been at 7.8. I have been adding 14.5 muriatic acid to reduce but I never see any noticible change. I use the tf100 test kit and pool calculator to determine amount to add. For instance in Tue I tested and PH was at 7.8. I added 68ounces of muriatic acid...

That makes sense...I added more chlorine to get my target of 8

Just did a test FC 4 Cc 0 TC 4 Ph 7.5 TA 110 Ch 220 Cya 65 I'm using the TF 100 kit. The reason why I ask is because when I did the 5 drop test with the R600 it showed about 1 in chlorine but the R870 test tells me it's at 4?
