Went out and got my LC supply for another SLAM and feel good about removing the light and drain covers. But I have another quesiton for the TFP Guru's. I know it is recommended to SLAM with a CYA of 30, but is it still safe to do it with a higher CYA?

My pool has 2 skimmers that go down to a single line going into he Jandy Valve. Is it safe to block the flow of one of the skimmer inlets while having the manual vaccum hose in the other inlet? It seems I do not get really good suction on the vaccum if the other skimmer inlet is free flowing...
