I'm getting ready to upgrade my pump and want to order an auto vacuum with it. Not slut of extra money to spend so I was wanting suggestions for something that will work buy is cheap. Thanks in advance.

I have the same pool as the previous poster and was looking at the Intex 2650 that you mentioned. So, is it a decent system because the pump the pool came with is horrible!

I test Ph every night and the last 2 nights it has been 7.8. Should I go ahead and lower it or leave it alone until or if it gets higher?

We just set up our pool this past weekend. I have only checked ph & chlorine levels and they are fine. I will be checking CYA this weekend to make sure it is at a good number. My water is clean and clear but I looked at my filter tonight and it is iced tea color. Could this be a problem...

Thanks everyone. One more question, if I get a liquid stabilizer do I still use the 1 oz per 500 gallons suggested by pool school or is that formula only good for powders? Or can I forgo the 4 night step and just use the calculator and add the appropriate amount to raise my CYA level?

I only looked at the bags of "shock" and they did not contain dichlor. Should I check a different product labeled something other than "shock"? I was only looking for that because of pool school. Hahahaha, Richard. No ill effects from bathing, I just didn't want to cause problems or issues...

We just filled our Intex Ultra Frame 18' x 48" above ground pool. I could not find a "shock" treatment at Walmart that has CYA. Can I add the bleach and swim tomorrow without adding the CYA? I am going to check a pool store tomorrow (if they are open) to get some and add it tomorrow night but...
