Hello, I'm a new owner of a very old pool. Just bought a late-1950s house with a pool (age 50+ years?) in Anaheim in early 2021.
First time pool owner. Pool plaster is delaminated in about 3 spots which are roughly about 6" to 12". Seems to hold water rather well but did notice it low 2 weeks ago and filled it and hasn't budged much since. Pool walls have black algae spots which brushing doesn't remove. Variable speed pump and gas heater are brand new.
I'm glad I found this site and look forward to meeting all of you in the forums.
