Thanks for your reply. Is there an alternative CH test that does not require seeing a color change. The colorQ just requires 5 drops of each reagent mixed and let the colorimeter read it.

I am using a ColorQ kit to take readings. I am color blind so the taylor kit was difficult to use. I have ask some friends to cross reference my readings and they are correlating. Keeping on top of the expiration date for the analyzing chemicals in the kit keeps the measurements consistent.
