We Have a Winner! TFP Pool of the Month (October 2024); Theme - Landscaping

Is that fence at least 4' high or does MD not have the same requirement as we have here in NJ ? (I didn't see another fence surrounding the entire yard).

    2025 TFP Donation Campaign

@Sarah and Nate , @Leebo - As @HermanTX mentioned, this should really be pinned to the top of this forum. ;) And have you ever considered some kind of site banner to "advertise" the annual fund raiser? I too visit weekly and this did not catch my immediate attention several threads down...

PSA: PoolMath app runs on macOS (desktop) too!

I don't believe I've ever seen this mentioned so I thought I'd share. For those Mac users unaware, some iOS/iPadOS apps can be run from macOS simply but installing them from the App Store on the Mac desktop. (iPadOS apps often display better because of screen formatting issues.) Anyhow, I...

    Feature Suggestion - Permanent Notes

The only other idea that comes to mind would be a "special notes" flag , which is similar to a pin but once flagged (a button such as "Add to Special notes. Note this note will not appear in your timeline but can be viewed by going to...", would appear at the bottom of the add note screen) these...

    Quick comment on PoolMath update

@Leebo Any chance you could also "correct" (enhance) the recommended level information?

    Timeline needs a search function!

So I'll take no news (responses) as good news? A search function will be included in the next release?! :laughblue:;)

    RenuKrete experiences?

(Sorry for the delay in my response, I was traveling.) I appreciate your insights. And I hadn't thought about it before your comment but that may explain why I have a number of cracks but no "heaving" (the rebar largely keeps everything in place). Just curious, did you decide to have rebar...

Raccoon problem visiting your pool (dispatch)

We have a "winter cover" (which we use under our safety cover in the winter to block out the sunlight and it keeps the water effectively clear until spring) which is really just a solar cover made of darker material. We find a lot of critters (frogs, chipmunks, birds) attracted to the pool at...

    RenuKrete experiences?

Ok, I'll bite. ;) Can you be a little more specific? As in, do you really mean ANY or specifically coatings, stamping, or dying/coloring (which is a part of RenuKrete's approach). I too am wary of coatings (anything rolled or sprayed on as an overlay). Stamping seems to have been around for...

    Timeline needs a search function!

Another post left me thinking about how I don't really use the "Perform Maintenance" entry type. While I would still prefer the functionality of an actual full search function, list filtering (displaying only particular Timeline items types (eg. Note, Expense, Maintenance, etc.) at a time) would...

You know what I miss in the new PoolMath?

For what it's worth, I +1 your request. ;) (As an aside, your post also made me realize I haven't really capitalized on the "Perform Maintenance" option of the Timeline. I've been logging Test Results, Chemical (additions), and using Notes a lot. I guess I just find Notes more flexible.)
