It’s a gunite pool. They used foam boarders to frame in the concrete.

We are doing a cantilever edge on our pool and not using coping at all.

My pool builder does not like salt either, but I am getting a salt system based off all the reviews on this site. He added an inline chlorinator in case I want to move to chlorine later. He said the main thing is to make sure I maintain the system. I guess he has seen were people don’t maintain...

We have talked a lot about it, now that I am doing porcelain tile and not travertine he is on board.

So I have decided to go with salt water, here is a list of current equipment quoted... what would I take out and replace for a salt water system?

I have been bumped for a week now by the gunite company here in Houston, wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?
