Well I fixed my gauge, the housing had gotten a little bent and was causing the internal mechanism to bind. Current reading is around 15.5 PSI, now to see if it rises any faster.......

. My filter pressure is rising but it is extremely slow. My clean pressure is 15 psi (which seems higher than what other have posted) and it gets to about 16 after a couple of days and 17 or so after a couple more days. My backwash cycle does seem short kind of short too, the water is clear...

Well, I just tested FC and came up with 11 again. So my OCLT have me a loss of 0 ppm over a 9.5 hour period. The water is still cloudy though..... why oh why. I guess it's time to start messing with my filtration system.

Water quality has improved slightly today. I can see the third step a little bit more clearly. I'm still on it hard. I'll try and get some pics tommorow. Last test before bed yielded FC 12.5, CC 2.0. Definitely still a lot of organics being broken down.

Added the 146oz and gave it another good brushing. Took another FC reading to see where I was at and got a reading of 9. Added more bleach.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking as well. I tested one more time just for kicks and it went up a point vs my first few measurements. Water is a lighter shade of green now. 8:13pm: FC - 7.5, CC - 2.5 Going back out now to add 146 oz bleach.

I'm back at it again. Filled out my sig with my pool specs. I regretably had to stop on my first attempt, so I'm back to a green swamp. I added CYA @ 96oz last week because I had none that I could detect. I'm brushing after every bleach addition. I will not stop until it is gone this time...
