    Late opening, cloudy water

Can't see bottom yet, too cloudy. But I will stand over them like a hawk. With the above numbers, does anything seem at a dangerous level? Nothing jumped out to me, but I don't want to risk hurting the kids skin/hair.

    Late opening, cloudy water

    1. Safe to swim for kids as is? 2. Added Murieta acid (22oz), stabilizer (66oz) and bleach (112oz) 3. Anything else I should be doing to speed this up?

Sorry, target goal, I have set at 40 for my pool. Is that optimum? If I can find locally liquid will be what I do, big get together this weekend and I want the water to be perfect.

3" of rain, numbers all off now

Re: 3" of rain, numbers all off now What is the optimum measure of CYA? Much easier to get FC up to level once CYA is there, than getting CYA up. - - - Updated - - - I may just bite the bullet and pay extra for the liquid.....pour right into pool like bleach and let the filter run, right?

Is there any brand of product you suggest for stabilizer to raise the CYA? All stabilizers the same? Pool math says I need 4.5lbs.....thats a BIG sock!! Can I pour right into the skimmer slowly? Took 4 days for the last batch of 1.5lbs to dissolve.

3" of rain, numbers all off now

Hey guys! Numbers from testing tonight. Besides adding some bleach, what else should I be doing? CYA still seems low, pH looks great since adding MA in. All of the Cyanuaric Acid has dissolved and given plenty of time to work in as well. pH - 7.2 FC - 3 CC - 0 CH - 150 TA - 80 CYA - 20...

Only CYA additive I could find was at a pool store, Home Depot, Lowes, and local hardware store didnt have any other options. It is UV Shield by Pro team. It is a 1.5lbs jug of granules. How much to add? What is best method?
