Relative ideal water level for skimmer

That's what I thought you meant, just wanted to be sure. Don't have an auto leveler. Don't really need one, that task just falls on to me. I keep a close on it. I really notice the difference keeping it at the lower level.

Relative ideal water level for skimmer

I'm with you Don, I used to keep my levels halfway or above. However, after observation, I noticed I collect much more debris when my level is 1/4 ish. I think it sucks air every now and then but it's so little am I really doing that much damage to my pump? My skimmer is a 3/4 hp single speed...

    Non-Stabilized Granules vs Liquid

Hi Folks, This is my first full summer operating my pool. I moved less than two years ago. Pool was empty last summer. I appreciate all the knowledge I've obtained from this forum. I've been using 12% bleach from the local pool store at $8 a gallon. (free gal after buying 11) One of the...

Advice for old Purex light replacement

Thank you for your response Poolbreh. That sealant just peeled right off but the wire has barely any play in it from the light end. I was hoping to dig up the conduit as it's not that long a distance as you can see from the pics. However, the conduit seems to run into the concrete perimeter of...

Advice for old Purex light replacement

Thank you for the reply. The junction box for the light is relatively close to the. A 30 ft cord should be more than sufficient.

Advice for old Purex light replacement

Hi, bought an as-is house with an as-is pool and need to replace the quite old Purex light. Obviously, I need a new gasket. I've done some homework but would welcome any advice as to how to best proceed. Get a new gasket and clean the lens? Replace lens? Finding a compatible lamp? I don't have...
