Got it. I determined there was no screw hiding in there. I wrapped the impeller in tape and used the channel locks but that just slipped a bunch and tore. I didn't want to go directly on the impeller so I slipped some bike inner tubes over the pliers and proceeded carefully and it finally...

They can get pretty heavy in the summer after a lot of rain. Doesn't usually last more than a few days at a time.

About the same for me. CYA around 50. 2+ppm per day. One jug of 8.25 raises my ppm by 3. So I add a jug for two days then skip a day unless testing reveals it needs it more frequently.

reillysmommy- Congratulations! I hadn't been to that part of the neighborhood in a while and I just noticed your pool. Looks great! I've been attending some of the HOA meetings lately and found out that exemptions are fairly easy to get from the board. Glad it all worked out for you.

Your pool is just a bit bigger than mine. I just pour in whole bottles of Clorox. 1 bottle raises my Cl ppm by 3. I don't really need to be any more precise than that.
