Hi all, I need to replace the caps on my pool. I have a pic from when we still had them, but I don't have any in hand to reference. I'm having a hard time finding caps without knowing the manufacturer. I do remember the caps were 2 piece. Thanks!

Is it possible to eat through acid quickly? I added 43oz of dry acid (pool calculator said it would take it from 8 to 7.2, but who knows what point over 8 it was) and it got to 7.4. Pool calculator said 9oz of muriatic acid would take it from 7.4 to 7.2, but an hour after adding, it was still 7.4.

Thanks! We add water about once a week or so, but no autofill. Gotcha, but it did test down to 7.2 and didn't change the alkalinity. Do you think it shot up too fast to affect a change? We just added more acid and are about to test again.

Hey all, my PH is 8+, so I added enough acid to bring it to 7.2 and then started aerating it. Today, I tested it and the PH is 8+ again and the alkalinity is unchanged. I know this can take awhile, but wouldn't the alkalinity have changed a little bit?
